A draft revision of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) 2019 Model Veterinary Practice Act (MVPA) is available to AVMA members only for comment until February 14, 2025. ACVS Diplomates and residents who are not AVMA members may want to become members to have the opportunity to comment.
The MVPA is intended to serve as a set of guiding principles for those who are now, or will be in the future, preparing or revising a practice act under the codes and laws of an individual state.
