The deadline to submit your recommendations for five prestigious ACVS and ACVS Foundation awards to be presented at the 2024 Surgery Summit is fast approaching. Download each award’s nomination packet to view eligibility and submit your nomination.
ACVS is saddened by the loss of Emeritus Diplomate Bruce A. Christie, who passed on February 19, 2024. Among his long list of achievements, Dr. Christie was one of the first Australian veterinary surgeons to achieve ACVS board certification.
All Diplomates are encouraged to submit nominations for the ACVS president-elect, large animal regent, and small animal regent terms beginning October 2024. This is your opportunity to shape the College’s future leadership. President-elect candidates must have a large animal emphasis. View the criteria and submit nominations.
In December 2023, ACVS completed its maintenance of certification record audit for Diplomates certified in 2018. The Board of Regents congratulates 61 Diplomates on their continued certification and one Diplomate on successful reinstatement of certification through December 31, 2028.
