The 2022–2027 ACVS strategic plan has four strategic objectives. One is to focus on excellence in continuing education (CE).
In May 2023, ACVS conducted a CE needs assessment survey to determine how to improve the quality of and access to ongoing training for Diplomates and residents.
Drawing on survey responses, ACVS is taking deliberate steps toward reshaping its educational landscape to meet the CE needs articulated by ACVS Diplomates and residents. These steps include expanding the already impressive group of content experts supporting ACVS CE initiatives, ramping up the variety of on-demand opportunities, producing subspecialty-focused education, and increasing options for interactive education.
